Working inside the formal education system but not as a teacher, I’m interested in using creative techniques to facilitate children and young people in developing their own creative learning.
Working with the Centre for Urban Education at Manchester Metropolitan University and Creative Partnerships Greater Manchester, I have speicalised in the area of Design for Learning Environments
I am particularly interested in developing new ways for students to engage in the process of designing their own learning environments, and the new opportunites for this presented by Building Schools for the Future and other school rebuild/ redesign initiatives. I have worked with Manchester City Council BSF team on behalf of Creative Partnerships, and am currently developing this work in schools across Greater Manchester in my role as Associate for the Centre for Urban Education.
